PLC Technician & Programmer

We require an engineer with experience developing SCADA systems but would consider an electrician with PLC programming experience to join our team.

Our work involves programming PLCs, HMIs (touch panels & PC Based operator interfaces), designing, building, and wiring control panels, installing and setting up instrumentation including pressure transmitters, flow meters, valve controllers, etc.

The position would require service calls and project startups on the above with a majority of the work done in Illinois and the surrounding states. Our employees are encouraged to learn every aspect of the automation controls we install including software and hardware and are only limited by their own ambition. Some of the hardware we use includes: PLCs - ControlWave, Allen Bradley, Automation Direct. Touch Panels - PanelView, C-More, Maple systems. Some of the software we use includes: Iconics, Intellution, WonderWare, ControlWave Designer, RSLogix, MSSql, Crystal Reports. We also integrate various other instruments including VFDs, private line modems, cell modems and data radios.
